NatyaFest 2026 – Indisches klassisches Tanztheater

NatyaFest findet in diesem Jahr bereits zum fünften Mal in München statt. Das Nityaa Arts Centre, gegründet von Vid. Shubhada Subramanyam, möchte dem Münchner Publikum authentischen klassischen indischen Tanz näherbringen. Nach der positiven Resonanz seit dem NatyaFest 2022 präsentieren wir 2026 erneut ein vielfältiges Programm mit internationalen Künstler*innen.

Programmbeiträge:

  • Bharatanatyam – Vid. Shubhada Subramanyam (Nityaa Arts Centre)

  • Odissi – Bhavani Odissi Dance School unter der Leitung von Vid. Naila

  • Narthana Priya (Schweiz) – eine Produktion des jährlichen Schweizer Festivals für klassischen indischen Tanz.
    Die Aufführung würdigt das Vermächtnis von Guru U. S. Krishna Rao und Smt. Chandrabagha Devi. Kuratiert von Guru Sujatha Venkatesh (Genf) und geleitet von Dr. Pranitha Kamat (Aargau) im Rahmen der Kunstbildungsinitiative Natya Chittra. Das Werk wurde bereits in der Schweiz und im Vereinigten Königreich aufgeführt.

Die Veranstaltung wird zweisprachig (Deutsch und Englisch) moderiert.

NatyaFest is taking place in Munich for the fifth consecutive year. We would like to thank you for your continued patronage and support.

The Nityaa Arts Centre, founded by Vid. Shubhada Subramanyam, is dedicated to bringing authentic classical Indian dance to audiences in Munich. Following the positive response since NatyaFest 2022, we are pleased to present NatyaFest 2026 with a new concept and talented dancers.

Program highlights:

  • Bharatanatyam – Vid. Shubhada Subramanyam (Nityaa Arts Centre)

  • Odissi – Bhavani Odissi Dance School under the direction of Vid. Naila

  • Narthana Priya (Switzerland) – a production from the annual Swiss festival celebrating Indian classical dance.
    This performance honors the legacy of Guru U. S. Krishna Rao and Smt. Chandrabagha Devi by presenting some of their treasured choreographies. Curated by Guru Sujatha Venkatesh (Geneva) and directed by Dr. Pranitha Kamat (Aargau) through her arts education initiative Natya Chittra, the work has been presented across Switzerland and the United Kingdom. We are delighted to bring this production to NatyaFest Munich.

The event will be presented in both English and German.
